Michael is a PhD student in the Sociology department at Cornell University studying political polarization in the contemporary US. He received a BASc in Electrical Engineering and BA in Sociology from the University of Toronto in 2018 and 2021, respectively. His research focuses on underlying sociological and psychological bases behind political conflict. In his free time, he can be found spending time with friends, at the pool, or playing video games.
